A man nearly avoided disaster in Eugene, Oregon, after a saw blade came screaming through a parking lot and nearly struck him before it lodged into the side of a convenience store.

A man in Eugene just missed being seriously injured after a huge saw blade rolled through a parking lot and lodged into the side of a convenience store last Thursday. It was all caught on security camera video.

The man opened the door and walked into the store. About three seconds later, the rogue blade came flying into the picture and lodged into the side of the building where the man had been walking a moment earlier.

A second angle from inside the store shows the camera vibrating when the saw hits. That camera had a microphone, so you can hear the impact.

KOIN in Portland reports that the blade came loose from a nearby construction site and sailed through the parking lot.
